Breaking the lore this DIWALI~

Well Hello There!

Is it just us who is all confused about the pace how fast this year went off. I mean its Diwali already, pretty soon we are going to get all excited about Christmas and bamm! hello 2017! Diwali is one of the prime festivals of India. This festival of lights brings out all the pushed back energy and excitement in all of us. Delicious home cooked food, lots of gifts, sweets, meeting up friends and family, taash games and the endless hours of partying.!Fun traditions eh?! Amidst all of these, there are a few traditions which limits us from a lot of stuff. Playing dress up has always been our favorite part about festivals. Getting all dolled up has always been the fun part of the festive season right? Since childhood there is this one thing, this one tradition that always bothered us which our moms and grand moms and practically everybody else kept telling us- Not to wear BLACK on an "auspicious occasion". We bet most of you have heard the same. As a kid, we did believe it at that time. We thought probably something bad would happen if we did so. But now? Not a chance. We decided to break up this myth and wear Black. Have a look :)

Keeping the theme Indo-Western, We created 2 looks out of which one is on a more traditional side - black gown with detail embroidery and a dupatta to go with, its the perfect festive blend. The other one gives a more westernized look, A black shirt dress with embroidered sleeves and pockets. Both the looks are perfect Day looks for this beautiful festival. If you just want to dress up and still be super comfortable moving around and chilling we surely recommend going for something like this which speaks Tradition and Style at the same time. As for the color BLACK- as Coco Chanel once said "The best color in the whole world is the one that looks good on you". So go ahead, wear your favorite color and break the lore this Diwali because we did and trust us, it feels Great!<3 We would like to promote an Environmental-friendly Diwali. Celebrate this Diwali Cracker-free because that's what we are going to do. Making beautiful Rangolis, enjoying all the yumm food and meeting up with friends and family <3. That's what festivity is all about right?!

Now as for the super important news we wanted to share- We would also like to introduce a new line of clothing by the name of'MISFITS' and what better than this bright and auspicious festival of Diwali. :) The outfits shown above are the first two officially customized and self-designed outfits for Misfits. We are super excited about this and hope you guys loved it too! More on this later! For now Have a wonderful Diwali you guys. Wish you all lots of love and luck <3

Until Later :)
