Hola peeps!
Welcome to yet another blog post.
When it comes to styling for a person on the curvier side, there are a number of restrictions posed. There are way too many don'ts and barely any options given to choose from. One of the most encouraged suggestions for them is to choose darker hues as they have a certain slimming effect. Well we couldn't disagree more. The right kind of fabric and silhouettes makes all the difference whether you choose black or a pretty pink for that matter.
In this ever-evolving world of fashion, the timeless choice of pastels is an all season favorite for most of us. The soft, subtle pastels hues not only looks gorgeous but also adds the element of colors in your wardrobe being all elegant yet stylish. These English colors springs up the romance within us and totally reflects our moods. That is what happy colors are all about right?
Totally avoiding the 'all black and no soft hues' taboo, I went for these really pretty pastel outfits from the designs of this uber talented woman, Ggitika Sahariia.
Not playing by the rules and choosing these ice-cream shades and commonly avoided patterns made me super delighted. Check it out <3
Do not choose blush peach:
Not only is a maxi dress said to be a big no for plus-size women, choosing a peach on top of that is quite a challenge you would think. Well not really. This straight cut well fitted Maxi is a perfect choice for a date night isn't it?
Do not go for serene white:
When it comes to choosing an outfit, a lot of us end up avoiding jumpsuits strictly because of the notion that its not well suited on curvier women. The right fit and cuts made this outfit look tremendously beautiful don't you think? This white jumpsuit defines the 'less is more' saying more apt then ever.
Ruffles are the prettiest pattern whether its in the form of a delicate inclusion in your outfits or a dramatic over-sized patch. If you are someone who thinks you couldn't carry off ruffles then its time to rethink. This mint green shirt-dress has properly placed ruffles and is the perfect element for freshness and romance giving the outfit a vintage makeover.
About the collection:
" The blush collection was born out of the thought of moving away from the florals and instead incorporating the frills and the English color palette inspired from the romanticism which electrifies the wedding season. We have blended tussar silk with gold foil print and gorgeous royal Georgette fabrics to bring out the romantic notion.
This collection is meant for the easy-going and confident woman who loves to keep her outfit simple, comfortable yet different and experiments with quirky accessories."
